Description
A large handsome square Villa dating back to the 18th Century with a central dove cot tower most of the building is in original condition with handmade terracotta floors and timber beamed ceilings. The main building is on 3 floors, the ground floor which once housed animals has high ceilings, some of which are vaulted and large spaces that would convert to spacious living areas.
The building has been divided vertically into two large units with little structural work carried out making it a relatively easy job to re unite the two parts. There are many features like the main stone staircase and several huge rooms with fireplaces once the hub of a buzzing fattoria.
Two stone annexes with arched entrances run parallel to the main house creating a large courtyard and giving this a real exclusive farmyard feel with a touch of class that takes you back to the days of horse drawn ploughs, large dining tables with red chequered table cloths, hung game and large wicker covered flasks of wine.
There is a total of approximately 1,200 square meters including the seven structures, some of which are simple covered hay barns and vehicle parking lean-to's all designated for agricultural usage which could be re allocated for stable blocks or closed barns etc.
The appeal of this property apart from it's grandeur, atmosphere, distance to Arezzo and access to the A1 motorway is the 15 hectares of flat irrigated farmland that it over looks. Ideal for livestock especially horses with the volume for potentially plenty of stable units this would convert into an exceptional equestrian centre or specialised farm activity.
