Partly restored farmhouse in a dominating position. The building is structurally restored with a new roof and habitable 1st floor. Most of the external walls have been pointed and the roof replaced.

Vaglie sits below the local olive mill which lays dormant for most of the year until olives are ripe and people from all over the area will arrive to convert the fruit into olive oil. This would include the purchaser of this property as there is a mature olive grove of 8000 square meters.

The ground floor is a series of Cantinas and store rooms that could convert to living accommodation and the first floor has 4 bedrooms, bathroom, studio, kitchen and living room. This floor is accessed by a wide stone external staircase to a loggia with two arches.

Unfortunately the current owners restored the house in the 70’s when it was fashionable to remove the timber beams and terracotta floors and replace with flat ceilings and modern cotto tiles.
